A person reads every message. There is no bot on the other end of the contact form.
We aim to reply within a day. It is a small team, so sometimes it is two.
You create a profile, verify who you are, and browse members who fit what you asked for. When two people both say yes it is a match, and you choose together whether to continue on WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram — your number is shared only when the other person accepts. Nobody is told who you passed on. Calaf Doon is a phone app — everything happens there.
Because it is the whole reason this is safe. Every member sends a passport or national ID card, a selfie taken with the camera, and a short video, and a person reviews them by hand. Until that is approved your profile is not shown to anybody, and that rule lives in the database rather than only in the app. It is also why you can trust that the people you see are real.
Right now, entirely. Every feature is switched on for every member and nothing is being charged for. There is a paid tier built and ready — unlimited likes, seeing who liked you and who visited you, every filter, priority in Swipe — and when it is switched on you will be told before it happens, not after.
On what you tell it. Age range, country, city, language, education, marital status and how you practise. There is no algorithm learning about you in the background and no compatibility score — the filters you set are the filters that run, and members who were active recently are shown first.
Your photos live in private storage, never on the open web, and are only ever shown through links that expire. Only your city and country are shown — Calaf Doon never asks your phone where you are and stores no coordinates at all. Calaf Doon keeps no private conversations: when you connect, you talk on the app you both chose. Your WhatsApp number or username is encrypted and shown only to the match you accepted.
Android is ready now and you can install it from the download page. There is no iPhone version yet — when there is one it will appear on the same page. Nothing on this site asks you to sign in; the account lives in the app.
In the app: Profile, then Delete my account. Your profile, your photos and your verification documents all go with it, straight away. There is no waiting period, nobody will call you to talk you out of it, and you do not have to ask anyone's permission to leave.
