Two things have to be true: your profile has to be finished, and you have to be verified. Calaf Doon only shows verified members to each other. Your profile page shows what is still missing from it and how much each part adds.
It is worked out by the database from what you have filled in — your basics, faith, interests, a bio of at least 40 characters, and at least one photo. Your profile page lists anything still missing.
Nobody. Other members see your age, never your date of birth, and your phone number is never shown to anyone. The database itself refuses to hand these to another member.
Every photo is checked by a moderator before other members can see it. Until then only you can see it. A photo that is too blurred, too dark or too small to see anything in is turned away straight away, with the reason, so you can take another.
A photo of your passport (the page with your photo) or both sides of your national ID card, a selfie taken with the camera, and a short video turning your head. For a passport, the app reads the code at the bottom on your phone to catch a typing or photo mistake before you send it.
Only moderators. Documents are kept in private storage that no other member can open, whatever link they have, and every decision is written to an audit log. Your documents are never shown on your profile.
Usually less than a day. The app tells you as soon as a moderator decides — you do not need to refresh.
The reason is shown under that step — for example the photo was blurred, had glare on it, or cut off part of the document. Take that step again; the others stay as they are.
An expired document cannot verify anybody, so the app will not send it. Use a current passport or ID card.
No. Passing is completely private. Nobody is ever told they were passed.
Like tells them you are interested. Connect is a like that, the moment they like you back, goes straight on to choosing where to continue. Skip moves on without deciding — they may come round again later.
Calaf Doon is a marriage platform, so you are only shown members of the opposite gender.
A map of cities with how many members you could meet in each. It shows the centre of a city and a number — never where anybody is. Calaf Doon never asks for your location.
Widen your filters, or try the City tab to look further away. New members join regularly, so it is worth checking back.
Calaf Doon introduces you and keeps you safe until you both agree to talk. The conversation then continues on WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram — whichever you both choose. Calaf Doon does not store private messages.
Only after you match, one of you asks to connect on a platform, and the other accepts. Before that it is encrypted and nobody can read it — not even another member you have matched with.
In Home, open the accounts button at the top. Add only the ones you are happy to share; you can switch each one off or remove it at any time.
Report them from their profile or from the connection, and choose that it happened outside Calaf Doon. You can attach a screenshot. A moderator reads every report.
Do not send anything, whatever the story. Report them and block them. This is the single most common scam on any matchmaking platform.
Add your guardian's name and contact to your profile, and bring them in before you share your number with anyone. Their details are never shown to other members.
A moderator reads it. Urgent cases involving safety are handled first. Reports are confidential — the member is never told who reported them.
Yes, from their profile or from a connection. You disappear from each other straight away, any connection between you is closed, and they are not told. You can unblock from Settings.
Profile → Delete my account. It happens immediately: your profile, photos, documents, likes, matches, connections and contact details are removed. There is no waiting period.
